HISTORY

In November 2016, we traveled to Egypt to explore the idea of delivering our prosthetic there. We teamed up with Zewail City of Science and Technology in Cairo, Egypt and fit a Victoria Hand to a 13 year old boy. This trial proved to a success and demonstrated the need for prosthetic care in Egypt. 

In December 2017, we traveled back to Egypt to establish a 3D print center with our partner, the Canadian Egyptian Hand (CEH), made possible thanks to the Google Impact Challenge funding. While training local clinicians, 2 new fittings and a follow-up were accomplished. We are confident with our Egyptian team and have plans to fit many more amputees!
