The Victoria Hand designs are not open-source. We only provide our designs to our clinical partners in-country. A poor-fitting prosthetic socket can be detrimental or very uncomfortable for the user. For this reason we only work with medical professionals (certified prosthetists) who can ensure proper follow-up care for the patients. Additionally, assembly of the Victoria Hand devices is complicated and requires detailed training from the VHP team.

We have partner clinics in 11 countries (Cambodia, Canada, Egypt, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Nepal, Pakistan, Uganda, Ukraine, USA) that can provide Victoria Hands. If you are located in one of these countries, please click here or send us an email and we can help coordinate a visit to one of the clinics. Clinic contact information is also listed on each Country Page. If you are not located in one of the 11 countries that we work in, please contact us to inquire if we are able to assist you. Unfortunately, this may require travel to one of our partner sites.

We would like to help provide Victoria Hands to people all over the world, but unfortunately we are limited by funding. Please send us an email to inquire about working together. What we ask potential partners: - Do you have a registered prosthetist or CPO on staff? If not, do you have a partner prosthetic clinic that would work with you? - Do you have experience 3D printing? If not, are you willing to learn? - How many employees do you have on staff? Are they willing to assemble Victoria Hands? (1.5 hr labour trained, 2+ hours labour while training) - How many people do you expect would benefit from a Victoria Hand partnership?

Victoria Hand Project is a registered Canadian charity and is able to offer tax reciepts to Canadian donors. Victoria Hand Project is also a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (US registered charity) and is able to offer tax reciepts to American donors. Unfortunately, at this time we are not able to provide tax receipts to people living outside Canada and the United States.

We have many volunteers from the Greater Victoria Area community who volunteer with the project. They help with tasks such as hand assembly, engineering testing, social media, website development, and community outreach. If you are located in Victoria, Canada we would be happy to meet with you to see how you can get involved. If you are located outside Victoria, you can email us with your experience and we can see if there is a project for you.

Victoria Hand Project focuses its efforts on regions where amputees encounter significant barriers to accessing prosthetic care, such as poverty or armed conflict. However, we are currently in the process of expanding to the United States and Canada to assist individuals who would benefit from the Victoria Hand.
